Privacy Policy
Effective 11 June 2026
1. Who we are
This website, rtvintage.com, and the services offered through it are operated under the trading name RT Vintage by RT Advisory Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong with its registered office at Unit 2A, 17/F, Glenealy Tower, 1 Glenealy, Central, Hong Kong SAR ("we", "us", "our"). Raphael Tressieres is the curator and primary contact. For any privacy matter, write to us via the enquiry form on this website or by email once provided in our correspondence. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry data you submit through the form on this website: your name, email address and the details of your enquiry. The form is delivered to us by FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service, which transmits your submission to our mailbox.
- Event and booking data when we plan an engagement together: guest numbers, dates, venue details, dietary notes and similar practical information.
- Cellar data you choose to share for a cellar review: inventories, invoices or photographs of your collection.
- Payment data: payments are made by bank transfer or through a payment provider (such as Stripe). We never see or store full card details.
This website itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To answer enquiries and deliver events, curation and experiences (performance of a contract, or steps prior to one).
- To invoice, keep accounting records and meet legal obligations (legal obligation).
- To keep limited records of past engagements and improve our formats (legitimate interests).
- To use photographs or testimonials from events in our materials, only with your explicit consent (consent, withdrawable at any time).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers needed to run the business: FormSubmit (delivery of website enquiries), Microsoft 365 (email and documents), our payment provider, our website host (Hostinger), and, where an event requires it, the licensed venue, merchant or logistics partner involved in your booking, limited to what they need (for example, guest count or delivery address).
5. International transfers
We operate internationally (including Hong Kong and the European Union) and our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by the provider.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 12 months. Event and curation records: up to 24 months after the engagement ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Invoicing and accounting records: as required by law (typically 7 years).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU and UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us via the enquiry form and we will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies and third-party requests
This website sets no cookies. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a standard technical request (including your IP address) to Google when the page loads. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-respecting, cookieless tool or ask for your consent first, and we will update this policy.
9. Alcohol
Our events and experiences involve wine and are intended for guests of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. Wine is sold, where applicable, by licensed venue and merchant partners, not by this website.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
